All About The Blenny | Info and Facts
Size: 1 to 5
Lifespan: 2 to 6 years
Temperament: Varying temperaments calm to aggressive
Information / Facts: Blennies (blenniidae) are bottom dwellers that come in so many variations that there is undoubtedly one out there that can meet your tanks needs. Most are calm, while others like the lawnmower blenny are very aggressive. Cool name right. Because of their size and the fact that they often create little areas under rocks and organic material, blennies are often very territorial. This might be an issue in a smaller tank, but if your tank is large enough or doesn't contain any other bottom dwellers you should be ok.
Pros: These fish eat just about anything, and come in a wide variety of temperaments.
Cons: These fish are hard to understand and many are aggressive. They are often tank trouble makers. Many but not all Blennies are territorial.
